RESKILL (Reskilling for the Digital and Sustainable Tourism and Hospitality Workforce) is a forward-thinking Erasmus+ project for reshaping skills development across Europe’s tourism and hospitality sectors.
Our mission is to address industry-specific skills needs, foster sustainability, digital transformation, and enhance employment opportunities throughout Europe.
Approach
RESKILL adopts a dynamic and innovative approach by:
- Developing continuous feedback mechanisms to support iterative improvements and ensure training effectiveness and alignment with EU policy frameworks.
- Introducing concise, easy-to-access online micro-courses aligned with EU lifelong learning principles.
- Promoting sector-specific digital and sustainable practices to meet emerging industry regulations and consumer expectations.
- Deploying an interactive training environment with blended learning, expert webinars, mentoring, and networking sessions facilitating direct industry engagement.
Objectives
RESKILL aims to:
- Foster meaningful collaboration and resource-sharing among educational institutions, industry bodies, employers, policy makers, and EU partners.
- Address critical skill gaps in tourism and hospitality through targeted, flexible micro-courses and micro-credentials.
- Facilitate increased employability and skill mobility, empowering hospitality workers to adapt swiftly in a rapidly evolving job market.
- Embed sustainability and digital competencies into the European hospitality workforce to accelerate the sector’s green and digital transitions.
